The Dyna-Glo cabinet heater can heat an area up to 600 square feet using a 20 lb. propane tank (propane tank is not included.) You can get 21-64 hours of heating time from a single 20 lb. tank with a BTU output of 6,000, 12,000 or 18,000. This cabinet heater uses .29-.84 pounds of fuel per hour. The packaged weight of the Dyna-Glo propane heater 18,000 BTU is 21 pounds. However, the assembled weight is only 16.4 pounds. There is a piezo ignition system and a CSA certified tip-over switch for safety. There are flame-out sensors and oxygen depletion sensors as another measure of safety. Plus, the cabinet heater has locking casters and easy-lift handles.
This Dyna-Glo 18,000 BTU heater gives off a sun-like heat. It can be used in any well-ventilated indoor area. It is perfect for heating up a chilly basement or for use in a shop or garage. It should not be put anywhere where it will be at risk of being exposed to water. That includes water that is sprayed or dripped on the unit, and it should not be used outdoors in the rain. You should keep a close eye on your children and pets when using this Dyna-Glo cabinet heater.
The heater comes with a regular and hose for attaching it to the propane tank. These items should never be altered or changed in order to maintain the safety of the heater. Use the provided owner's manual for instructions on hooking the hose and regulator up to the propane tank.
